Tracy Broback has been a maker since she can remember. As a California native, Tracy has spent her life being outdoors appreciating the beauty this part of the world has to offer. You will see this passion in the oil paintings she creates, drawing inspiration from local flora and fauna and what she sees on her travels. Noticing beauty and reflecting it simply and even abstractly in her paintings provides a connection to the present moment. Her paintings can provide that same feeling of grounding and gratitude to collectors as well.
Tracy Broback is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley and holds a Masters Degree in Teacher Leadership from Saint Mary's College of California. Tracy has a multiple subject teaching credential as well as a single subject credential in art. Always seeking a new challenge, Tracy's teaching career has been varied and full of creativity including time in public schools as well as many years teaching mosaic and sculpture classes at the Institute of Mosaic Art in Oakland. Tracy is currently working at Piedmont Middle School in California teaching art and ceramics. When not in the classroom, Tracy loves walking her dogs, quilting, and spending time at the ceramics studio.
